BJP today attacked Congress and Samajwadi Party for their leaders' controversial remarks on Paris terror attack. Talking to media in New Delhi, party Secretary Shrikant Sharma said remarks by Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar and UP Minister Azam Khan are the height of vote bank politics and Sonia Gandhi and Mulayam Singh Yadav owe an explanation to the people. Mr. Sharma said such statements weaken India's fight against terrorism.

Aiyar had said that the anti-Islam phobia being carried out in the western countries should be stopped immediately while the UP Minister had said that superpowers should think whether the terror attacks were a reaction to the killing of innocents in Arab countries.
