BJP asks Rahul to apologies or face defamation case for remarks against Sushma

BJP today sought apology from Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi for his remarks that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swraj has committed a criminal act in Lalit Modi scandal. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, senior party leader Nitin Gadkari termed the statements as unfortunate saying if Mr. Gandhi does not apologize, the BJP will file a criminal defamation case against him. Mr. Gadkari said Sushma Swaraj has not indulged in any corruption and Congress Vice-President has defamed not only her but the entire country.<br/><br/>Yesterday, Mr. Gandhi had defended Congress decision to disrupt Parliament proceedings saying Sushma Swaraj has committed a criminal act. He had also said that there will be no discussion without the resignations of BJP leaders in Lalit Modi scandal and Vyapam case.
