BJP today sought a statement from the government on the ruling party General Secretary, Mr. Digvijay Singh's demand of inquiry into the Batala house encounter case. <br/> <br/>Party spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad while strongly criticising the Congress leader, for visiting Azamgarh where he met the family of a terrorist involved in the attack. He said, such act will demoralise the police force. Mr. Prasad said, Congress is playing vote bank politics at a time when country is facing threat from terrorists.<br/>
