BJP has asked Congress to come out from the shadow of Gujarat and desist from unnecessarily targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Party spokesperson Sambit Patra said Congress repeated questions on Gujarat drove it to such a state while people reposed their trust in Mr. Modi again and again.

Earlier in the day, Congress had demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe findings of CAG over KG basin project. It cited a CAG report which said Gujarat PSUs incurred losses of hundreds of crores of rupees. On black money and Panama Papers leak, Mr. Patra took a dig at Congress alleging it is the opposition party which is responsible for generation of black money in the country.

He also alleged that it was Congress which had abducted India's money, development and prosperity and now it is questioning the NDA government. He said, earlier BJP MPs had made statements saying they have no black money but Congress top leaders remained silent.
