BJP today approached Election Commission over West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's remarks urging a particular community to vote for TMC. The party has termed her remarks as violation of Representation of People Act and demanded lodging of an FIR against her. <br />''<br />''A BJP delegation led by senior party leader and Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi met the Commission in New Delhi over the issue. Talking to reporters after the meeting, Mr. Naqvi alleged that Ms Banerjee is not only threatening voters of the state but also the paramilitary forces who are there to ensure free and fair polls.
