<span style="color: #222222;">The final list of three candidates from the BJP  for the Tamil Nadu Assembly election was announced today.  BJP is contesting in  20 seats in the State Assembly election. Tamil Nadu Congress in its election manifesto released yesterday gave 22 assurances including total prohibition in the State.  Chief Electoral Officer, Sathyapratha Sahoo held review meeting with the health officials from Bihar at State secretariat today.<br />'' <br />'' The meeting was primarily about holding election during Covid times.  Health officials from Bihar Sudhir Kumar, Rohini and Tamil Nadu Principal Health Secretary Dr. Radhakrishanan participated in the meeting. According to Dr. Radhakrishnan, presently Covid in Tamil Nadu is under control.  <br />'' <br />'' He told that the State Health Department had already handled 7500 cases per day, and the government is monitoring the situation.  Earlier yesterday the Chief Secretary had issued a regulation to the public to strictly adhere the covid guidelines failing which penalty will be levied.<br />'' <br />'' As the filing of nomination will end this Friday, various political parties and independent candidates are busy in filing their nomination in all the 234 constituencies.<br />'' <br />'' Leaders of political parties unmindful of the Summer heat are involved in campaigning. Political rallies, public meetings, door-to-door canvasing ,  use of social media have all become part of election campaign.  <br />'' <br />'' District electoral authorities have been asked to maintain a vigil with regard to Covid cases amidst election preparations. Health department have also asked the government hospitals to conduct awareness regarding the Covid vaccine.<br />''  <br />'' Chief Secretary Rajiv Ranjan and Principal Health Secretary Dr. Radhakrishnan are attending the video conference with the Prime Minister on Covid situation in the State. </span>
