The BJP has announced first phase of candidate list for assembly polls in West Bengal. The Party's Parliamentary Board today approved names of 106 candidates out of 294 assembly seats. According to a party release in Kolkata this evening, out of 106 candidate 26 belong to scheduled cast, four are scheduled tribes and nine are women. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports the BJP is the first recognised political party in the state who released its candidate list. The West Bengal is going for six phased assembly elections from 18th of next month.
