BJP and it's allies release extended manifesto for Punjab elections

BJP and it's allies Punjab Lok Congress, PLC and Shiromani Akali Dal Sanyukt today released its extended Sankalp Patra, manifesto for Punjab elections at Jalandhar.<br />''<br />''The document was released by senior BJP leader and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP Punjab election in-charge and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhwat, and other senior party leaders, Raninder Singh of PLC and Tejinder Pal Sandhu of SAD Sanyunkt.<br />''Addressing the media Mr.Puri said, the alliance has made resolution to take number of steps to bring out Punjab from economic crisis.<br />''<br />''In the manifesto, BJP and it's allies has promised to give 100 crore rupees for revival of the Handloom and handicraft industry of Punjab. New industries in every district shall be developed based on their traditional industrial characteristics.<br />''<br />''Manifesto also promises to provide electricity to MSMEs at 4 rupees per unit and 5 rupees per unit to all other industries. It also promised to form Tax exempted industrial clusters to attract the investment in the state and to set up new industrial townships in Kandi belt and Mohali. The alliance has also promised to establish 3 new dry ports in Jalandhar, Amritsar and Bathinda and to increase the capacity of Sahnewal dry port.<br />''<br />''Mr Puri said, they will bring white paper on the damage done to the industries during Covid period and provide a special relief package to the affected industries.<br />''The Sankalp Patra also promises 75 percent reservation for the youth of Punjab in all government jobs and 50 percent reservation in all private jobs. Guaranteed employment for 150 hours per month will be provided to the youth under Saksham Yuva Scheme. The alliance also promised to give 4000 rupees per month to unemployed youth for two years after completion of their degrees. The Sankalap Patra mentioned, three state universities, two new sainik schools and one skill university will be established across the state. It also mentions, three new PGI Satellite Centres, one cancer hospital would be set up in the state. The alliance also promised to develop Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Mohali Bathinda on the lines of metropolitan cities.<br />''The Sankalp Patra says 300 units of electricity will be given free to all, and three rupees per unit will be charged after consumption of 300 units.<br />''<br />''Agriculture loans of farmers who own up to five acres of land will be waived off. Loans of up to Rs 50,000 will be waived off for SC, OBC and economically weaker sections. Women will be given 35% reservation in government jobs including contractual jobs.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The party had already released two spe  Sankalp Patras along with allies PLC led by Captain Amarinder Singh, and the SAD Sanyukt.</span><br />
