Goa is all set for Lok Sabha polls tomorrow. Polling will be held from 7 am to 6 pm for the two lok Sabha seats, North and South Goa in the state. Around 10, 60,780 voters are expected to exercise their franchise. 19 candidates are in the fray, 7 in North and 12 in South Goa constituency.
The main fight is between BJP and the Congress in both the seats. There are 1,624 polling stations located across the state including 827 in North and 797 in South Goa parliamentary constituency. Election office is making all out efforts for smooth conduct of poll. About 3,600 personnel will be deployed on election duty, including state police, paramilitary forces and home guards to ensure free and fair polls.
