All National Democratic Alliance constituents are united behind the government on the issues of Vyapam scam and Lalit Modi controversy. At a meeting held in New Delhi last night, they said if the opposition parties want, the discussion should take place in Parliament on these issues. However, they demanded better coordination in the alliance and sought the appointment of a convenor. The meeting was called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence to discuss the strategy for the Monsoon session of Parliament beginning today.<br/><br/>Talking to AIR after the meeting, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, during the meeting all the allies unequivocally assured their support to the BJP led government on these controversial issues. He also said there is no reason for NDA to be on backfoot. Mr. Raut said, in the meeting, Prime Minister assured to take along all NDA parties on Land Acquisition Bill. He added, Mr. Modi also said such meetings will take place regularly. <br/><br/>The meeting was attended by LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa of Akali Dal and RPI leader Ramdas Athawale among others. BJP Chief Amit Shah and Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitely and Venkaiah Naidu were also present. Earlier, BJP Parliamentary Party Executive meeting was held to fine tune party's strategy for the session. Senior party leader L K Advani was present in the meeting besides party MPs and Union Ministers.
