In Uttar Pradesh The Bhartiya Janta Party has alleged that the BSP government is trying to change electoral procedure in Civic Polls .The Party senior leader and Lucknow MP Lalj Tandon claimed that state government is trying to change the electoral pattern for the post of Mayor. Lalji tandon told media persons in Lucknow yesterday that the government is trying to bring an ordinance under which the mayor would be chosen through elected corporators than the through direct election . Tandon also claimed that the state election commission had issued a circular wanting to know the political parties views on urban local body election without any poll symbol.<br/>
