The BJP today described Prime Minister's request to Saudi Arabia to persuade Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism against India is subtle shift and major departure from India's foreign policy tenet. <br/><br/>Party spokesmen Prakash Javadekar that such a request by the Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia is nothing but the beginning of the third party intervention in India Pak relations. He said that at the time of Shimla agreement it was established that India and Pakistan will sort out all issues bilaterally and there will be no place for a third party mediation.<br/><br/>He said that Prime Minister statement proves that the Minister of State for External Affairs Mr. Shashi Tharoor comments indicating Saudi role were not off the cuff remarks. He said that these comments reflects the governments mindset on the issue.<br/><br/>The NDA floor leaders are meeting tomorrow to decide the strategy to be adopted on hike in the price of fuel and the Prime Minister latest statement.<br/>
