BJP accuses Mamata for ignoring interests of Bihar & UP in Rail Budget; Congress compliments

The opposition BJP today charged the Railway Minister with favouring West Bengal in the budget for the next fiscal. Initiating the debate in the Rajya Sabha on the Rail Budget for 2010-11, Senior BJP leader, Mr. Kalraj Mishra alleged that Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have been completely ignored in the budget. Strongly pleading for corrections to address the concerns of the people the tow states, Mr. Mishra demanded increase in the number of unreserved coaches in all trains for the benefit of common man. Hailing the Rail budget, Prof. Saifuddin Soz of the Congress, said that the interests of the common people have been protected in the budget. He also complimented the Railway Minster, Ms. Mamata Banerjee for preparing a blueprint for the vision on the growth of railways in the country. The discussion is continuing.
