BJP accuses Congress of adopting diversionary tactics to ward corruption charges

BJP today accused the Congress leadership of adopting diversionary tactics to ward off a string of corruption charges against its leaders. BJP spokesperson Nirmala Seetharaman told reporters that during the AICC meeting, top Congress leaders, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, party president Sonia Gandhi, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, were all silent on corruption, including Adarsh Housing Society scam , Commonwealth Games works, or 2G Spectrum. The spokesperson said the Congress leadership had not even accepted the resignation offer of Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on the charges of allowing his kin and partymen to usurp flats allegedly meant for widows of Kargil martyrs.
