BJP accuses Cong of playing hate politics over dalit student suicide in Hyderabad

BJP today accused the Congress of playing hate politics over dalit student suicide incident in Hyderabad University. The party also termed the allegation by the opposition party against the Centre over the issue as baseless and untrue. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, BJP Secretary Shrikant Sharma said the country knows very well what Congress has done for the betterment of dalits and poor in its 60 years of rule. He alleged that the opposition party is not able to digest the Narendra Modi government's work for the lower sections of the society.<br/><br/>To target the opposition party, he also cited Congress MP Hanumantha Rao's 2014 letter to Human Resources Development Ministry over the activities and problems in the University campus. Mr. Sharma said the Centre has nothing to do with the incident. The BJP leader also attacked Arvind Kejriwal for his visit to Hyderabad to show solidarity to protesting students and alleged that Delhi Chief Minister is not bothered about the problems faced by the people in the national capital.
