The entire northern region continues to shiver under biting cold conditions and chilly winds. In the national capital Delhi, the minimum temperature plummeted to 2 degree Celsius and maximum 20 degrees. The weatherman has forecast mainly clear sky with chilly winds during the day.

In Rajasthan, icy northern winds swept across the state with Churu being the coldest with minus one degree celsius.

In Haryana, the temperature in Hissar fell to freezing point and Rohtak had sub-zero temperature. In Punjab, Amritsar was the coldest with mercury falling to zero degrees.

Himachal Pradesh continue to reel under sub-zero temperatures at many places .
The chilling cold conditions are continuing in Uttar Pradesh. Both day and night temperatures are recorded below normal in many parts of the state.
