In Tripura, Bird Flu was reported on Wednesday from the Indian Council for Agriculture Research Farm at Lembuchera near Agartala city. According to the Director of the state Animal Resource and Development Department, the Farm at ICAR reported deaths of many chickens in the last two weeks. Joint Director of ICAR Agartala said, there were death of many Chickens on last Tuesday night. He said, blood samples were sent to the High Security Animal Disease Laboratory in Bhopal and the lab has confirmed Bird Flu. On Wednesday a team from Animal Resource and Development Department of Tripura inspected the farm and after inspection they decided to start the culling process from Thursday.
