The culling of the birds on Friday started in Tripura. Officials of the state Animal Resource and Development Department said the culling was started from ICAR farm at Lembuchera where the Bird Flu was first reported on last Wednesday.All the livestock in the ICAR farm has been culled.On the first day of the culling 1979 birds has been culled till report last came in.Meanwhile the state Animal Resource and Development Department has formed 14 culling teams.Around 6 teams were sent to the 5 villages within the 3 km radius zone from the outbreak spot.A total of 11137 rupees has been given as compensation.
