Terming large mounds of waste in several states as legacy waste, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar today said that the Centre has introduced biomining and bioremediation techniques in order to address the issue.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In his reply to a question in Rajya Sabha, the Minister said that through intervention of these bio-processes waste will be decomposed and will be dug out for further segregation. He said that this will significantly reduce the waste mounds in cities. </span><br />
