The Union Science and Technology Ministry has sanctioned a biotechnology park for Sikkim. The park will be established at Pakyong in East district at an estimated cost of five crore rupees. Our Gangtok correspondent reports that the proposed park will have all facilities including research centre at regional level for Northeastern States.
