Hearing on the bail petition of the Human Rights' activist, Mr. Binayak Sen will continue on Tuesday in the Chhatisgarh High Court. Mr. Sen currently undergoing life term on the charges of sedition has moved the Chhatisgarh High Court against the judgement of the Lower Court. The Sessions Court in Raipur had found him along with naxal idealogue Mr. Narayan Sanyal guilty of sedition on the 24th of last month under different sections of the IPC and the Chhatisgarh Public Security Act. The renowned lawyer Mr. Ram Jethmalani argued in support of Mr. Sen's bail petition in a packed court in Bilaspur on Monday. The two member division bench of the Bilaspur High Court is hearing the case. A delegation from European Commission comprising of foreign diplomats was allowed to witness the proceedings by the court.
