Law Minister Sadananda Gowda today moved the High Court and Supreme Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Service ) Amendment Bill, 2015 in the Lok Sabha for consideration and passing. <br/><br/>The bill seeks to provide benefit to the judges for the added years of service. The bill has been brought in view of the judgement given by the Supreme Court for the purpose of computing pension.The Apex Court had directed that for pensionary benefit 10 years practice as an advocate should be added as qualifying service for Judges elevated from the Bar.
