Chairman of the National Inovation Council Sam Pitroda says, a Bill with a focus on dignity to labour should be brought in parliament.

In an interview to All India Radio Pitroda said that provisions in the Bill should be made to provide facilities like portable toilets and facilities to take care of the children of the construction and other workers under government funded projects.

He said that construction workers should also be provided wheel barrows so that they do not have to carry heavy loads on their heads.

Pitroday said all the 2.5 lakh panchayats will be connected to broadband in 2 years. He said that the work is progressing rapidly under the Bharat Brodband scheme.
