Bilateral agreements with Japan to boost economy, job growth in India: BJP

BJP today said the bilateral agreements with Japan on civil nuclear energy, railways and others will boost economy and job growth in India. In a statement, BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma said, youth will be the direct beneficiaries of these historic agreements, apart from jobs created, 10 thousand youngsters will also visit Japan in the next five years. <br/><br/>Crediting the success to Prime Minister's Act East policy, he said, the 16 agreements signed including those related to Make in India, Bullet Train and civil nuclear energy, will prove to be important milestones in bilateral relations. He said, through assistance from Japan's high speed Shinkansen system, high speed trains will run in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor, which is a historic decision.<br/><br/>Sharma said, the visa on arrival facility for Japanese tourists will also give a boost to tourism in the country. The statement also mentioned the positive impact of the progress made towards the proposed Japan Industrial Township. Sharma added that, foreign countries are keen to enter India under the Make in India initiative because of the government's policies of zero tolerance towards corruption and encouraging the manufacturing sector.
