Bihar's Voter List Reaches to 7.64 Crore in Summary Revision; Improved Sex Ratio at 909, CEO Highlights Youth Inclusion

In Bihar, the number of electorates has increased to 7.64 crore after summary revision of voter's list in the state. Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of state, HR Shrinivas told Akashvani News that the final list of electorates has been published.<br />'' <br />''He said more than 12 lakh increase has been registered after purification of electoral roll, deletion of redundant names and correction of double entries. Mr. Shrinivas also informed that during the process, the sex ratio figure of electoral roll has also improved to 909.<br />''<br />''The CEO said during the period of summary revision the Election Commission has added a large number of youth voters who are below the age group of 29 years.<br />''<br />''The upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be held in the state on the basis of this final publication of electoral rolls barring some minor updates in figures. <br />
