The poll process for Bihar assembly elections is beginning from tomorrow with filing of nominations for the first phase out of six phases of Assembly elections in the state. 47 constituencies in the state will go to the polls in this phase on October 21. The last day for filing of nominations is the October 4.Scrutiny will be on October5 and candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till October 7.The first phase of elections will be held in eight districts of the state which are Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj,Purnea, Katihar , Madhepura and Saharasa.The six phase poll for 243 seats begins from 21st of next month and concludes on 20th of November. Votes will be counted on November 24. The election process is to be completed before November 26.
