Bihari people living in Bangladesh&nbsp;and Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, Dhaka&nbsp;on Friday&nbsp;cheerfully celebrated MahaParv Chhath in Dhaka. The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pranay Verma inaugurated the celebration programme by lighting the lamp.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' The Women team performed all the events of Chhath Puja on stage, with traditional costumes, background music and melodious songs, like they perform&nbsp;really on the Ghats of Ganga in Bihar. The girls gave energetic folk dance performances showcasing the richness of Bihari culture.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the occasion, the High Commissioner said that this kind of cultural&nbsp;program helps to spread&nbsp;vibrant image of&nbsp;Indian&nbsp;culture&nbsp;in the world. He also&nbsp;expressed his happiness for getting the opportunity to participate in Chhath Parv celebration in Bangladesh.<br />'' <br />'' Verma congratulated all the participants&nbsp;who gave special performances during celebration,&nbsp;Indian diaspora and&nbsp;the organisation team&nbsp;for wonderfully arranging the event.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Bihari&nbsp;people living in Dhaka and around Dhaka participated in large numbers in the celebration programm. Apart from them, people from all other&nbsp;parts&nbsp;of India living in Dhaka took part in the celebration in good numbers.<br />'' <br />'' Chhath Puja special food dishes: mouthwatering Thekua, traditional&nbsp;Litti Chokha, Kheer and Malpua served to the guests which gave a feel of Bihar in Dhaka to&nbsp;invited&nbsp;guests.
