In Bihar, the imbroglio over the 3300MW Super thermal power plant at Nabinagar in Aurangabad district on land acquisition and rehabilitation has been settled one for all.AIR Patna correspondent reports that the farmers of the area had been agitating over the issues for the last two years and stopped any work on the plant project since December 31st last year.The state government has agreed to pay over Rs 21 lakh per acre compensation to the farmers instead of the earlier rate rupees Rs 14.62 lakh per acre.Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today laid the foundation stone of Nabinagar super thermal power project at Shivanpur village in Aurangabad district. Once completed, Bihar will get 70 percent share in power generated by it, while the balance will go to other states of the eastern region.
