In Bihar biennial elections to six Rajya Sabha seats from the state will be held on March 30. Seven candidates are in the fray. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place today. The election has been necessitated after an independent candidate Ahmad Ashfaqu Karim filed his nomination papers .Mr. Karim has the backing of the main opposition RJD and LJP. Six NDA nominees in the contest are 4 from JD ( U) and 2 of BJP.
