Bihar records over 15% voting for 7 LS seats

About 15.28 percent voting has been reported in the first three hours in Bihar, where polling is underway in Seven Lok Sabha seats.

According to state election commission office, maximum 18 percent voting was recorded in Muzaffarpur and minimum 12.5 percent in Ujiarpur parliamentary constituency.

Voting will continue up to 6 pm, but in 10 naxal affected assembly segments located in these seats, voting will end at 4 PM. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for peaceful polling.

Over one crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise to seal the electoral fate of 118 candidates including ten women .

Prominent among them are LJP president Ramvilas Paswan, BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Ruddy, RJD leader and Laloo Prasad' wife Rabri Devi, Prabhunath Singh, Congress leader Akhilesh Singh and JD(U) leader Ram Sundar Das.
