Bihar receives 130 Metric tonne oxygen from Centre within 2 days

Bihar has received 130 Metric tonne oxygen from Centre within two days. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said the centre will also give four tankers to Bihar to distribute oxygen properly. He said the centre has allocated 40 thousand vials of Remedesivir injection to the state. Meanwhile, fresh cases of Covid-19 continue to increase rapidly in the state.<br />'' <br />''Record number of 12 thousand 359  fresh cases of Covid-19 reported in the state yesterday. 123 deaths were also reported. With this, casualities due to pandemic has gone upto two thousand 87. Positivity rate has gone upto over 12 percent. Maximum positive cases of two thousand 479 reported from Patna. Active cases in the state have gone upto 81 thousand 960 and they are undergoing treatment at different hospitals. Recovery rate is decreasing and it is now at 78.49 percent.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Over three lakh patients have so far recovered from infection. 69 thousand 371 of people took vaccine yesterday. Over 65 lakh 48 thousand 882 people have so far been vaccinated in the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ordered to fill up vacant posts of doctors and para medical staffs in all districts of the state immediately to meet challenge of prevailing Covid-19 condition in the state. Mr Kumar instructed to hold walk in interview to speed up recruitment process.</span><br />
