Hindustani Awam Morcha ( HAM) President and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today filed his nomination paper from Makhdumpur constituency in Jehanabad district of Bihar. Water Resource Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhury filed his nomination from Sarairanjan as JD ( U) candidate and former Minister Renu Kushwaha filed her nomination paper from Samastipur as BJP candidate. Four candidates have filed nomination papers today for the second phase of election to be held on October 16.<br/><br/>For the first phase of election which is to be held on October 12, 81 candidates have today filed their nominations. Altogether 99 candidates have filed nomination for the first phase. The last date of filing of nomination for the first phase is September 23. Rashtriya Lok Samta Party, RLSP, has released its first list of 17 candidate. RLSP is an NDA ally and has been allotted 23 seats in seat sharing arrangement. Samajwadi (SP) Party has also released the name 19.
