In Bihar, campaigning for the second phase of election in the state came to an end on Friday evening. 45 constituencies will go to polls in this phase on Sunday. The constituencies are in the northern parts of the state. AIR correspondent K. K. Lal reports that contesting candidates have started door to door campaigning to garner support of voters. Stalwarts of different political parties including star campaigners addressed a series of meetings and rallies for this phase.Besides Congress President Sonia Gandhi, BJP leader Lal Krishna Adwani, and NCP Leader Tarique Anwar addressed election meetings.In addition to these leaders Senior JD( U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, BJP President NItin Gadkari ,JD ( U) president Sharad Yadav ,RJD President lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP Chief Ramvilash Paswan addressed election rallies . All political parties have raised the issue of development of the state to woo voters.
