The Bihar police has started an inquiry into the sensational murder of BJP MLA Raj Kishore Keshari. AIR Patna correspondent reports that Police is gathering all relevant information on accused Rupam Pathak. Four times MLA of Purnea sadar Raj Kishore Keshri, was stabbed to death by Rupam Pathak at his residence in Purnea on Tuesday. She has been arrested. The Director General of Police Neelmani told AIR that the police is recording the statements of the accused Pathak because some other persons may be involved in the incident. The different calls from mobile set of Rupam pathak are being deciphered. The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Purnea is personally supervising the murder case. The Superintendent of police of Purnea has been instructed to file a chargesheet within three days and conduct speedy trial of the accused Rupam Pathak , facing charges of killing of MLA, Raj kishor Keshari. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the Director general of police to thoroughly review the security of all legislators and MPs of the state. Mr. Kumar also ordered the DGP to ensure frisking of visitors of the legislators and MPs. The Chief Minister also appealed to the people and assured the supporters of Kesahri in Purnea to maintain peace as the guilty would soon be brought to justice. The cremation of the slain MLA will take place with full State honours on Wednesday afternoon in Purnea.
