<br/>In Bihar, at least 23 people were killed and 27 others injured when an overcrowded bus rammed into a speeding truck near Chenaki More near Patna.<br/> Senior Superintendent of Police Amit Jain said, the accident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp bend near a village. <br/> The bus, with about 75 passengers inside and many others on its roof, was going to Gaya from Patna.<br/> Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced an ex-gratia payment of fifty thousand rupees each to the next of kin of the dead.<br/>
