In Bihar, army has been deployed in the districts concerned, where the Kosi flood water may affect.
Army arrived at Supaul, Madhepura and Saharsa districts last evening and it will reach soon in other places.
According to official sources, Indian Air Force, IAF will also keep choppers ready at the Chunapur (Purnia) and Patna airbases.
As many as 15 satellite phones have also been provided, including to the DMs and SPs concerned, as part of communications.

Around 2.25 lakh people could be hit in the nine districts of Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Khagaria, Purnia, Araria, Madhubani, Darbhanga and Bhagalpur. The evacuated people are staying at over 120 temporary relief camps.
Necessary relief materials are being given to them. District administration has shut down educational institutes because these institutes are being used as temporary relief camps.
Over 500 policeman from Bihar Military Police and district armed police force have also been sent to the Supaul, Madhepura and Saharsa district.
Around 150 government boats along with some private boats, have been kept ready in the nine districts for rescue work.
