Bihar: NSG team neutralise 2 high intensity bombs in Bodhgaya

In Bihar, a team of NSG have neutralised two high intensity bombs in Bodhgaya this evening. Bombs were neutralised in the bed of Falgu river.These bombs were recovered during search operation near Mahabodhi temple after mild explosion of bomb near Kalchakra maidan on last Friday night.<br/><br/>SP Garima Malik said National Investigation Agency (NIA) has collected samples of bomb explosion .The Agency is probing the blast and recovery of three high-intensity devices (IEDs) in three metallic containers.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile Bihar Police has detained three suspected persons in connection with a bomb blast and recovery of live bombs near Mahabodhi temple in Bodhgaya. Police said, security agencies are interrogating them. <br/><br/>Bodhgaya has been put on high alert in view of the incident. Security has been tightened in and around Mahabodhi temple. Additional security forces have been deployed around Tibetan Monastery where Dalai Lama is staying. He is Bodhgaya for special prayers. <br/><br/>A large number of Buddhist monks and devotees from across the world have gathered in Bodhgaya to attend the sermons session of Dalai Lama which will continue till February 2.
