<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, Muzaffarpur District Administration has launched several drives for nutritional, sanitation needs and medical facilities for Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) affected blocks. Five blocks of the district Mushari, Bochahan, Motipur, Kanti and Minapur are said to be epicentre of AES, which claimed lives of more than 160 children this year.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to All India Radio , District Magistrate of Muzaffarpur Alok Ranjan Ghosh told that they have made several interventions in the affected areas. Mr. Ghosh said affected families are being covered by ration card, sanitation facilities at their doorsteps.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In the survey done by government agencies, the lack of nutrition has also been pointed out as one of the cause of AES in Muzaffarpur.
