So far, 67 people have died in flood-related incidents throughout the state. Surging water of these rivers, is spreading in new areas. Punpun is flowing three metre above danger level and posing threat to embankment. People in the affected districts are being shifted to safer places. Over one lakh people in low lying areas of Patna have also been shifted to safer places. About two lakh people are still facing worst ever water logging in state capital. Over one thousand boats and 23 NDRF teams have been pressed into service in different parts of the state for relief works. 45 relief camps have been set up and 324 community kitchens are providing food to the flood affected people.</span><br />
