In Bihar, police have started proceedings to attach the property of former Chairman of Bihar School Examination Board Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and his wife Usha Sinha in Patna and Nalanda. <br/><br/>They are understood to be the mastermind of intermediate examination merit scam.The state government has also decided to cancel their passport. Police suspect the couple might left India as one of their sons is settled in London. <br/><br/>Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj told AIR that nine scamsters have been arrested so far and search is on to nab ten others including Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and Usha Sinha.<br/><br/>Raids are being carried out to nab four toppers also. Efforts are also on to arrest father, wife and brother of kingpin Bachcha Rai. Raids were conducted at their possible hideouts but police could not locate them so far.
