Bihar Mahadalit Commission unconstitutional: Buta Singh

<br/>The National Commission for Scheduled Castes said that the formation of the Bihar Mahadalit Commission is unconstitutional. While talking to reporters in Patna, the Commission Chairman Buta Singh told that the State Government has no right to run such a body without the permission of the Centre.<br/><br/>Mr. Singh said, the State Mahadalit Commission is totally illegal and unconstitutional under Article 338 of the Constitution. Such a body can only be formed after the approval from the National Commission for Scheduled Castes. This did not happen.<br/><br/>Buta Singh indicted that Bihar government is not following the reservation rules and implementation of the welfare Schemes for the poor.<br/><br/>It may be noted that Nitish Kumar led NDA government has constituted State Mahadalit Commission in 2006 for the uplift of castes, considered weakest among weaker sections.
