In Bihar biennial elections for 11 legislative council seats will be held on April 26. Counting will start at 5 pm on the same day. According to the Election Commission press release, a notification in this regard will be issued on April,9. The last date of filling of nomination paper is April 16. Scruitiny of nomination papers is on the next day.Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till April 19. Among the prominent members whose current tenure is set to expire on May6 include Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and the chairman of the legislative council Tarakant Jha.
