In Bihar, political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters as first phase of polling is approaching. They have fielded their star campaigners to garner support in favour of their candidates.Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will address an election rally today at Narpatganj in Araria district where polling will be held during the first phase on the 21st of this month.AIR correspondent reports that political parties are also making allegations and counter allegations against each other in a desperate bid to mobilise support for their nominees. During an election rally at Raxaul, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lashed out at Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi over his claim that the UPA Government had given more funds for the development of the state. Bihar BJP President CP Thakur said that the Centre allocated the funds as per the Gadgil formula and no extra money was given to the state during the past five years. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his alliance partner Ram Vilas Paswan of LJP launched a joint campaign in favour of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi in Raghopur Assembly constituency in Vaishali district.Both Yadav and Paswan alleged that there were rampant corruption in state administration.
