Bihar govt would increase testing rate for Covid-19: CM Nitish Kumar

In Bihar, a total of three lakh 45 thousand 179 health care workers took the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. So far, 16 lakh 22 thousand 661 beneficiaries have been inoculated with vaccine doses since the start of vaccination drive in the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said his government would increase the testing rate for Covid-19 in view of the recent spike in the cases in some parts of the country , even though the situation in Bihar is not as alarming.<br />'' <br />''Mr.Kumar said the government is on and keeping vigil on people coming from other states and several people were detected. Meanwhile, two lakh 61 thousand 240 patients have recovered from the COVID-19 infection in the state so far. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.27 per cent in Bihar. The number of active cases is continuously declining. Currently, only 363 patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals. No positive case was been reported from 19 districts of the state.</span><br />
