<br/>Bihar government has waived off three per cent interest on agricultural loans to farmers. This was announced by State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna. He said, now farmers have to pay only four percent interest instead of seven per cent on agricultural loans. The remaining three percent will be given by the State Government as subsidy. He also announced to waive registration fee and stamp duty on transfer and exchange of land with mutual consent. Mr. Kumar said, as per new provision any share cropper working on a field for 12 years will become owner of the land.
