<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, government would start disbursing Rs 6000 to each flood affected family from 19th July. </span><br />'' <br />'' Principal Secretary of Disaster management department Pratyaya Amrit  told media persons in Motihari that the amount would be given directly in bank accounts of aggrieved families.<br />'' Mr. Amrit was in Motihari to review the situation of flood in East and West Champaran district. He said several villages are affected in these districts.<br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Officials said  road construction and rural works department would start repair of damaged roads within seven days of receding of flood water. <br />'' <br />'' Large scale damage has been reported to public and private properties and standing crops in 12 districts. 27 lakh people have been affected due to flood.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that several buildings and thatched houses have been damaged in flood affected areas. In Sitamarhi two buildings collapsed due to flood water in Sitamarhi city and Parihar block. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All inmates were safely evacuated before the buildings caved in. In Sheohar 53 thousand agricultural land has been inundated causing damage to paddy saplings. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">NDRF and SDRF teams have intensified relief and rescue operations in flood affected areas providing dry food, medicines and other relief material to deluge affected people. </span>
