Bihar Government has instructed monitoring of embankments of different rivers criss crossing north parts of the state following the forecast of moderate to heavy rains in their catchment areas in Nepal. Total nine breaches in embankments on different rivers were reported so far following torrential rainfall in Nepal and it's bordering districts in Bihar. <br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that most of the north Bihar is affected by floods mostly caused by rivers originating in Nepal. No fresh breach has been reported from any embankment from last week. <br />'' <br />'' According to Central Water Commission moderate to heavy rains predicted in catchment areas of Kosi, Kamla Balan, Gandak, Bagmati and Adhwara group of rivers, may lead to surge in their water levels which overtopped at many places.<br />'' <br />'' Bagmati continues to flow above the danger mark at various places at Sitamarhi and Muzaffarpur. Although Kamla Balan is maintaining a falling trend, it continues to flow above the danger level in Madhubani. Over 66 lakh 76 thousand people spread over 12 districts have been affected due to current floods. Over one lakh people have taken shelter in 131 relief camps.<br />''  <br />
