Bihar Government has instructed all District Magistrates to assess situation arising out after rapidly increasing of positive cases across the state.  Secretary to Chief Minister Anupam Kumar said, as per guidelines the DM is competent to take decision about lockdown.  A complete lockdown has been imposed in ten districts of  the state  today due to alarming spike in COVID-19 cases. They include Patna, Munger, Madhepura, Kaimur, Purnea, Khagaria, Buxar,Nawada  Supaul and Kishanganj.<br />''<br />''The State Government has ordered a complete lockdown in districts of Begusarai, Nalanda and Vaishali for six days starting from tomorrow. In Jamui district, there will be  five  days lockdown.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, with 352 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 14,330. In all, 10,251 persons have recovered so far. Presently, 3,967 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals. Recovery rate in Bihar stands at 72 per cent.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has appealed people of the state to co-operate to enforce lockdown.
