Bihar government has given permission to restart over 27 thousand industrial units in the state to restore employment generation during lockdown. Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar said DMs have been authorised to issue permission letter in this regard to units. 

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said these units have to take responsibility of health security of labourers. AIR correspondent reports that industrial units of essential commodities including food processing units will be started soon.
