10 French nationals have been deported from Bihar for their alleged links with Maoists . A decision to this effect was taken by the state government.They deported include six women who were detained by police in Nawada district of the state. These nationals were found moving in naxal hotbeds and holding farmers meeting.Talking over phone to some media men in Patna, Union Home Secretary R.K.Singh said that the French nationals have violated visa conditions and all of them were working for an NGO believed to have links with frontal organisations of maoists. Out of 10 French nationals 9 had come to India on tourist visa, one had an employment permit to work in Bhopal.Deputy Inspector General of Police Paras Nath said they had come early this month and were camping in Bihar after visiting south India. Bihar police has also said that intelligence reports also said that French nationals had allegedly maoist links.
